Shelter for field communication and control utility sheds К - 01 is designed to provide installation, transportation and operation of military hardware in the communication systems of all Armed Forces levels of command. Shelter may be installed on a wheel base or serves as a stationary communication facility in field conditions.

Shelter operates in the following climatic conditions:

  • temperature of ambient environment is in the range from 243 to 323K  (from -300 to +500 C)
  • air pressure is from 60 кPa to 113 кPа (from 450 to 850 mm.m.c).

Maintenance

Maintenance of the shelter includes set of operations and technical-organizational activities, which intend to keep the shelter in order and in constant technical readiness while exploiting and storage.

Maintenance should be:

  • daily maintenance – DMAINT;
  • maintenance № 1 (MAINT-1) – monthly  maintenance;
  • maintenance № 2 (MAINT-2) – annual  maintenance.

Storage

Shelters in the open territory without preservation should be stored not more than two weeks. Storage is done in heated or  non-heated cellarage, observing preventive fire-fighting regulations.  It is not allowed to store it directly on the ground. Ambient air should not contain acid vapor and other corrosive impurities.

Retention cycle of the shelter, kept in factory package, in conditions of non-heated cellarage is 15 years.

Warranty retention cycle of the shelter is 3 years from the date when product is accepted by a customer’s inspector.

Transportation

Shelter, mounted on the vehicle chassis, considering the total mass and maximum allowable location regarding the height of its mass, is transported by rail (02-Т overall dimension according to State Standard 9238), water and air transport without distance limitation, taking into consideration relevant freight regulations.
