Digital Cable Modem Ethernet М-1201 is designed to construct a high-speed duplex digital link between remote devices with   Ethernet-interface.

Modem includes SHDSL-port, 4 Ethernet 10BASE-T/100Base-TX ports and a port with RS-232-interface.

Linear interface SHDSL complies with ІTU-T G.991.2.bіs recommendations and is used for transmitting ТСРАМ coding sets. Modem can multiplex two SHDSL channels in one logical channel (four-wire mode) to increase ranging at the cost of decrease in speed on the channel without decrease of total speed.

RS-232-port is used to control the modem. External terminal (PC) is connected to the port.

Modem can be controlled with control keys on the front panel. ЕОС-channel is used for remote monitoring of the  modem’s state. Analog phone set (TA-01) with local battery can be connected to the modem to organize voice engineering channel between modems.

Modem provides remote power supply for regenerators. The mode of streamline current feed is implemented in the modem to protect conductors and connectors of the linear side from premature corrosion.

Modem is resistant to man-maid noise, has complete galvanic isolation with the link and power system.

Modem operates in the following climatic conditions:

• temperature of ambient environment is in the range from 238 to 323K  (from -35⁰ to +50⁰ C)
• relative humidity is not more than 98% under the temperature of 298K (25⁰ C)
• air pressure is from 60 кPa to 113 кPа (from 450 to 850 mm.m.c).
